The Roman Catholic diocese of Palayamkottai is rendering service in the field of Education since 1973 Under the Chairmanship of the Bishop of Palayamkottai. St. Joseph College of Arts and Science was founded by Rt. Rev. A. Jude Paulraj on 13.06.2016 and blessed and inaugurated by Rev. Dr. A. Antony Pappusamuy the Apostolic Administrator of Palayamkottai Diocese. St Joseph College of Arts and Science established in 2018 with the motto of “To know oneself and To know God” is managed by the R. C. Diocese of Palayamkottai. It is a self-financed Coeducational College of Arts and Science at Vaikalipatti in Tenkasi District affiliated to the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. It is offering 6 UG Courses. We are proud of our college today it is growing with a noble vision to serve and uplift the poor and the downtrodden in and around the area by giving them quality education.
